Prickly Pear Inn is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines outlined in the Level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) WCAG 2.0 LEVEL AA. 

According to our test results, Individuals using the NVDA screen reader can book a room without assistance from a 3rd party on our public-facing pages. NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access) is a free screen reader that allows people who are blind or visually impaired to use computers. This screen reader is backed by the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB).

Prickly Pear Inn is committed to providing exceptional service to guests of all abilities and we strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We are a small, 11-room hotel, and have reserved Room 202, the Porcupine Room, as our ADA Accessible Guestroom. Accessible features include a roll-in shower with grab bars, a toilet with grab bars, and a removable under-sink cabinet to allow wheelchair access in the kitchen.
